Miasma sedikit flashback mengenai band ini sudah ga asing terdengar bagi saya dengan formasi lama mereka masih ada alfan afero sebagai vocal, dan setelah mereka mengeluarkan promo pada 2012 band ini seperti tenggelam sampai akhirnya tahun ini kembali dengan format anyar yaitu Wisnu (vocal), Sigit (Drum), Ghozali (Bass), Faisal (Guitar), dan Exzha (Lead guitar). Bersama formasi anyar tersebut miasma menelurkan debut full album berisi lagu – lagu baru yang ditulis dalam Bahasa Indonesia dan Inggris. 7 track tanpa intro or outro dimuat menjadi satu dalam wadah bernama “The Ancient Fallacy” yang dirilis oleh Sickness Productions.

FYI, dalam cd ini bakal sedikit kejanggalan kalian temukan karna track list audio dan cetakan cover berbeda urutan tapi hal tersebut telah diatasi dengan memasukan satu lembar berisi track list sebenarnya menurut audio cd. Aroma semakin kelam dan ini sepertinya menjadi track favorite saya di album the ancient fallacy “Sinlovers”, diawal permainan belum ada hal yang mengejutkan dimana sound – sound seperti track sebelumnya ga ada perubahan sampai pada akhirnya nada – nada riff melodic guitarnya yang bikin saya jatuh hati pada track ini melalui penempatan barnya yang cukup rapi. Klimaks dari album ini akan menyayat daging kalian lewat “Mendarah Daging”, petikan gitar beraromakan kelam ditengah lagu menjadi awal pembuka emosi wisnu dengan screamnya, aransemen up hingga down tempo terasa dalam track terakhir ini.

Secara garis besar track demi track dalam album ini memiliki magnet tersendiri melalui aransement guitar melodicnya, hyperblast pun ga terlalu dominan seperti death metal pada umumnya, akan tetapi sedikit koreksi kepada vocal mungkin lebih sedikit diasah agar lebih dapat emosional vocal death metalnya tapi artikulasi atau pengucapan liriknya dapat terdengar jelas sehingga bagi yang membaca liriknya dapat mengetahui apa yang diucapkan sang vokalis, untuk takaran sound saya rasa album ini sudah cukup baik. Tidak banyak kejutan yang terjadi dalam album ini, hanya saja aransement musiknya dapat dinikmati oleh pecandu music melodic death metal ala the black dahlia murder. So, untuk kalian yang senang dengan sound – sound seperti the black dahlia murder atau sejenisnya wajib memiliki album ini menjadi koleksi kalian.
