Kita baru saja membuat satu video klip terbaru, dan akan merilis album ketiga.

Ceritain dong, single mana yang kalian buat untuk video klipnya? Dan apa tema yang diangkat di video klip ini?
Judul single-nya Otoritas Apatis diambil dari album baru kita, di sutradarai oleh Teddy Drew. Tema yang diangkat di video ini soal lingkungan dan masalah sosial. Untuk lebih detail silahkan ditonton saja videonya :)

Oh iya, sudah berapa jauh proses penggarapan album ketiga kalian?
Mastering dan recording sudah beres. Tinggal ditahap produksi saja dan siap dirilis. Jadi mudah-mudahan bulan April ini sudah edar. Untuk tanggalnya masih belum pasti.

Seperti apa sih album kalian ini nanti? Apa yang membedakan album baru ini dengan album pertama dan kedua?
Di album ini sudah pasti beda dengan album sebelumnya, tetapi benang merahnya masih tetap ada. Kita belajar dari album terdahulu apa yang kurang dari segi sound dan recording. Di album ini lumayan lebih baik. Dan kita juga mulai berani memasukan aransemen-arensemen baru seperti keyboard, choir dll. Ada juga kolaborasi dengan musisi lintas genre. Pokoknya semakin berwarna.

Apa nama album ketiga kalian? Dan ada berapa lagu di album ini?
Nama albumnya RAGENAISSANCE. Di produksi oleh ARMSTRETCH RECORDS. Ada 10 lagu, 75% lirik Inggris dan 25% lirik Indonesia.

Berapa lama proses recording untuk album ini?
Kita mulai masuk studio bulan Juli 2013 sampai awal 2014. Kita menggarapnya juga nggak keburu-buru sih, pelan-pelan biar hasilnya maksimal juga.

Selama penggarapan album ketiga ini, para personil Parau lagi dengerin band metal apa saja yang mempengaruhi album baru ini?
Ghigox: Nggak berpatokan pada satu genre saja sih, semua genre saya dengerin untuk album baru ini.
Utha: The Black Dahlia Murder album baru, August Burns Red, Job For A Cowboy, Whitechapel.
Teguh: Lebih sering dengerin musik yang sedikit bernuansa agak gelap.
Onche: Selain band metal tua macam Pantera, saya suka dengerin band-band metal lokal juga yang nggak kalah bagusnya sama band metal luar.

Drummer baru Parau kan jauh lebih muda dari personil yang lain, apakah Utha bisa menyesuaikan dengan yang lainnya sejauh ini?
Utha: Hahaha.. Pertamanya canggung sih, lama-kelamaan sudah biasa dan bisa menyesuaikan dengan om-om yang ada di keluarga Parau. Dan saya sendiri sangat beruntung bisa bergabung dalam band metal keren seperti Parau :)

Oh, iya Bulan April ini kalian didaulat sebagai band metal pulau Bali, yang main di event akbar Hammersonic. Bagaimana perasaannya?
Yang pasti kita excited banget bisa meramaikan acara besar seperti Hammersonic, bisa bergabung dengan band metal keren Indonesia dan band metal dari luar negeri yang salah satunya band favorit kita juga.

Kalau menurut kalian, seberapa besar sih perkembangan musik metal di Bali sekarang ini?
Perkembangan musik metal di Bali sekarang sudah hampir maju yah.Band-band baru semakin banyak bermunculan dengan kualitas yang tidak kalah bagus dengan band-band seperti di kota besar di Indonesia. Dari segi penikmatnya juga sama, cewek cowok, anak kecil dan dewasa sudah mulai banyak yang datang ke acara musik metal. Dan semoga dengan berkembangnya semua ini, akan memberi nilai positif bagi skena musik
Bali diluar.

Terakhir, apa harapan untuk album baru yang akan keluar nanti?
