KJ: pertama-tama ceritakan tentang sejarah band kalian, seperti kapan kalian mulai dan siapa saja personilnya?

Luke: HELLBEYOND terbentuk akhir tahun 2006 di Bandung, Jawa Barat, Indonesia oleh Aditya (vocal), Rangga (guitar) dari NEMESIS dan Luke (guitar) dari PITFALL /TRAGEDI. Lalu Aditya mengajak Irfan (bass) dan Ryan (drums) dari OUTRIGHT untuk melengkapi formasi. Band merekam demo “The Follower Butchery” pada Juni 2007 dan mengeluarkan sampler split bersama OUTRIGHT, NEMESIS, dan DAZECORTICA. Satu lagu dari CD split bernama “Slaughtered” masuk juga pada Brutally Sickness compilation yang dikeluarkan oleh Extreme Soul Production. Setelah demo keluar, Rangga meninggalkan band karena dia harus berkonsentrasi bersama NEMESIS. Pada Maret 2008, HELLBEYOND merekam single lagu yang berjudul “The Strongest Stand Last”, yang masuk dalam kompilasi Bandung Death Metal bernama Panceg Dina Galur. Kompilasi tersebut dikeluarkan oleh Pieces Record. Setelah itu kita menandatangani kerjasama dengan Rottrevore Records (salah satu label record yang berbahaya di Indonesia) untuk mengeluarkan album pertama kita yang bernama The Strongest Stand Last. Selama proses pengerjaannya kita mendapatkan tenaga tambahan dengan pemain gitar baru Edz (lead) dari THE CRUEL. Dan untuk album The Strongest Stand Last formasinya yaitu: Aditya (vocal), Luke (guitar), Irfan (bass), Edz (lead) dan Ryan (drums). Dua tahun setelah album pertama Irfan dan Ryan keluar dari band karena mereka berdua merasa bersalah karena mereka tidak bisa membagi waktu antara HELLBEYOND dan aktivitas mereka yang lain. Dan sekarang, kita tetap berjalan tanpa formasi yang lengkap dan dua teman kita membantu untuk pertunjukan gigs, Dimas (bass) dari DEMONS DAMN dan Reza (drums) dari DAZECORTICA, memberi kita semangat baru untuk materi terbaru HELLBEYOND.
