Dikesempatan yg sangat baik ini, kami kembali akan mencorat-coret posting review dengan salah satu maha karya terbaik dari band Old School Death Metal Jakarta yg sudah malang melintang dlm scene keras kurang lebih 20 tahun. Ya, KERANGKENK…! secara fresh telah merelease album perdana mereka yg juga menjadi satu senjata baru dalam era saat ini dalam penunjukkan eksistensi mereka yg tak pernah terhenti sejak tahun 1994 silam. Terima kasih untuk Kerangkenk (Willy) dan Rantai Production yg telah memberikan kesempatan kepada IRS untuk ikutan menyumbangkan review sederhana kami ini.

Debut album ONSLAUGHT OF PSYCHOPATH bisa jadi sebagai balutan karya terbaik mereka selama ini yg telah banyak dinanti penggemar Death Metal tanah air. Sepanjang sepak terjang mereka, secara langsung ataupun tidak langsung kerangkenk banyak sekali mengalami jalan yg terjal dengan mengorbankan segala hal hanya untuk membuat band ini tetap berdiri kokoh. Dengan segala perjuangan mereka, akhirnya Kerangkenk tetap menjejak diri dalam scene ini dan Finally mampu melepas album ONSLAUGHT OF PSYCHOPATH dibawah naungan RANTAI PRODUCTION. Meski kita tau bahwa punggawa2 kerangkenk sendiri saat ini hanya diperkuat oleh dua orang yakni WILLY (Gitar, Vocal) dan APOY (Drum), namun mereka telah memberikan banyak pelajaran bahwa dengan dua personil pun sebuah band akan tetap bisa berjalan selama powerful utk memberikan yg terbaik tetap ada dalam masing2 personil.

Oke Metalhead, langsung saja kita bedah album ONSLAUGHT OF PSYCHOPATH yg menjadi salah satu album penantian tdk hanya bagi Kerangkenk sendiri namun juga bagi penikmat musik keras tanah air juga berbagai negara yg telah mengenal nama KERANGKENK.

Album ONSLAUGHT OF PSYCHOPATH ini dikemas dengan tampilan cover yg sarat dengan makna dalam. Dimana kami sendiri dapat menghubungkan makna tersebut dengan perjalanan sesungguhnya dari Kerangkenk itu sendiri. Suasana bagai ruang pembantaian dengan penampakkan satu karakter kuat dengan menggenggam golok atau pedang, diartikan sebagai wujud Kerangkenk yg sedang menikmati keberhasilan mereka dalam penggarapan album ini. Dimana mereka yg dahulu menghadapi berbagai macam jalan terjal juga hinaan, berusaha menunjukkan kepada mereka bahwa hal itu dapat mereka lalui dan saat ini mereka membalikkan fakta bahwa Kerangkenk masih tetap ada dan membantai semua penghinaan2 tersebut, semua diartikan dalam artwork yg brilian…!!!
