Ceritain dong asal mula Oracle terbentuk? dan kenapa si namanya Oracle?
ORACLE secara resmi terbentuk tahun 2001 di Sydney, diawali dari proyek iseng2 mahendra dan jimmy. Pada saat itu emang kita pengen bikin proyek yg bener2 idealis. Kita pun pilih jalur Industrial seperti Nine Inch Nails, Ministry, Covenant, dan sejenisnya. Setelah kesini2 dan banyak ganti personil akhirnya kita g bisa ngelak bahwa kita terpanggil di thrash metal, aliran musik yg berjaya saat kita masih smp sma. Ketauan umur ya bro hahaha. Nama Oracle itu sendiri diambil dari mitos Yunani yg berarti "wise teacher", dimana tugas Oracle adalah memberikan penglihatan kepada ksatria2 Yunani yg ingin berperang ataupun mencari jawaban. Filosofi ini kita gunakan di band sebagai suatu jawaban bahwa lo musti yakin dgn sesuatu walaupun lo ragukan. Hasilnya biar itu jadi seleksi alam.


Thrashin The Decade? Maksud dari album ini apa si? hal apa aja yang mau kalian sampaikan di album ini?
Thrashin' The Decade itu adalah album 10 tahun Oracle terbentuk. Selama 1 dekade Oracle berkarya dan tahun 2011 adalah tahun dimana kita akhirnya mencapai pendewasaan di musikalitas. Di album ini kita banyak bercerita hal2 sosial, terutama banyak kemunafikan dan keserakahan di negri ini. Negri yg kaya dan yg tadinya disebut macan asia, akhirnya sekarang harus terpuruk karena dimakan dari dalam.


Butuh berapa lama album ini dikerjakan?
Album ini butuh waktu 1 tahun dalam prosed pembuatannya. Karena banyak perubahan dan masukan2 di tiap lagunya. Hasilnya ya seperti yg lo denger itu.


Dibawah label mana si kalian? dan menurut kalian, gimana penjualan album ini kedepannya?
Kita g dibawah label. Kita masih mengedarkan secara gerilya. Dari sini jg kita banyak bekajar gimana cara memperluas jaringan untuk penjualan album. Untuk penjualan album ini, kita let it flow aja. Laku atau tidak itu relatif, gak semua orang punya selera yang sama.


Influnce terbesar Oracle di album ini siapa aja si?
Di album ini kita banyak terinfluens Testament, Metallica, Exodus, Death Angel, Megadeth, Anthrax yah band2 thrash bay area amerika laennya.


Thrash Metal,bagaimana menurut kamu dengan aliran ini? kenapa kalian ambil genre ini?
Thrash metal itu menurut kita adalah musik yg semangat dan tanpa basa basi. Itu yg bikin kita jg pilih aliran itu disamping kehidupan para thrashers yg fun dan penuh becanda.


Album metal terbaik ditahun 2011 menurut kalian siapa aja si?
Kalo album terbaik menurut kita relatif. Semua band punya album terbaik masing2. Dan masing2 punya plus minusnya.


Band apa yang kalian harapkan datang ke Indonesia tahun 2012?
Hmmmm.... Yg pasti band thrash hahaha.. Semoga aja ada yg mau datangin The Big 4 ke Jakarta. Kalaupun g, Testament aja, lo liat aja dvd live Testament. Dari awal sampe abis ngebut terus dan g bosenin.


Big Four! Bagaimana tanggapan kalian dengan kalimat tersebut?
THE BIG 4. Cocoklah dengan band2nya. Kalo kita liat perjuangan mereka dari nol dan ditolak orang2, sampe akhirnya bisa jadi legend dan sudah bisa membius 3 generasi. Itu suatu prestasi yg luar biada. Ditambah tiap band tsb punya ciri khas sendiri2. Gak gampang untuk membangun karakter suatu band. Banyak band2 thrash yg cukup lama berjuang tetapi akhirnya harus menyerah. Seperti yg kita bilang tadi, akhirnya alam juga yg milih band2 tsb utk menjadi THE BIG 4.


Musik Metal masuk TV,bagaimana pendapat kalian?
Masuk TV bukan sesuatu yg dilarang. Metal bukan sesuatu yg merugikan. Metal gak ngambil duit rakyat kok hehehe malah bikin semangat dan memacu adrenalin. Metal bisa dibilang suatu gaya hidup dan identitas yang harus diperkenalkan ke orang banyak jadi gak selalu dianggap negatif. Solidaritas di komunitas metal pun cukup tinggi, lo bisa liat banyaknya acara charity yg diadakan komunitas metal untuk membantu teman2 yg membutuhkan. Jadi Metal masuk TV menurut kita bisa membuka wawasan orang awam yg gak ngerti Metal secara lebih dalam. Masalah diterima atau gak, itu balik ke pribadi masing2.


Bagaimana pandangan kalian terhadap Xtreme Zine sendiri?
Xtreme Zine sangat2 mensupport kemajuan musik metal di tanah air. Dengan adanya online zine seperti ini, band2 yg baru bisa dikenal secara global. Acara2 komunitas pun akan terbantu utk promonya.
