Pruning pasir atau tunas pasir

Dilakukan 1 x pada tanaman 2,5 thn

Pemotongan harus rapat (lebar mata ± 8cm)

Membuang pelepah pada lingkaran pertama dan kedua
dengan ketinggian tidak lebih dari 15 cm.

Pruning selektif

Dilakukan pada tanaman yang berumur 3,5-4 thn atau
tinggi tanaman > 90cm

Membuang pelepah yang lebih dari songgo tiga dari buah
terendah

Pemotongan pelepah harus rapat ke pangkal batang
menggunakan dodos besar (lebar mata ±12cm)
