Bisnis.com, JAKARTA - Hasil survei yang dilakukan Bank Indonesia menyatakan optimisme konsumen terhadap kondisi ekonomi enam bulan mendatang melemah dari bulan sebelumnya.
Indikasi tersebut tercermin dari Indeks Ekspektasi Konsumen (IEK) April 2015 yang mengalami penurunan sebesar 10,3 poin dari bulan sebelumnya menjadi 115,9.
Direktur Eksekutif Departemen Komunikasi Bank Indonesia Tirta Segara mengatakan pelemahan IEK didorong oleh penurunan seluruh indeks pembentuknya, dengan penurunan terbesar terjadi pada indeks ekspektasi kegiatan usaha 6 bulan mendatang sebesar 15,1 poin.
"Hal itu diikuti oleh indeks ekspektasi ketersediaan lapangan kerja dan penghasilan 6 bulan mendatang yang masing-masing turun sebesar 8,8 dan 6,8 poin," ujarnya dalam keterangan resmi, Rabu (6/5/2015).
Faktor utama yang menyebabkan pelemahan optimisme responden terhadap kondisi ekonomi enam bulan mendatang yakni perkiraan masih melambatnya pertumbuhan ekonomi pada enam bulan mendatang.
"Selain itu, meningkatnya potensi tekanan kenaikan harga dan semakin ketatnya penyaluran kredit perbankan," kata Tirta.
Secara regional, tambahnya, pelemahan IEK terjadi di 15 kota dengan penurunan terbesar terjadi di Pangkal Pinang -27,0 poin dan Manado -21,9 poin.
"Berdasarkan tingkat pengeluarannya, penurunan IEK terbesar terjadi pada kelompok responden dengan tingkat pengeluaran Rp1 juta - Rp2 juta per bulan," ucap Tirta.
