BETRAYER berdiri sejak tahun 1992, personilnya diawali oleh Ndaru “Thrashline” (Rhythm Guitar/Vocal), Arik (Lead Guitar), Akbar “Superglad” (Drums) & Doddy “Ex ADAPTOR”(Bass). Di pertengahan tahun 1995 Arik mengundurkan diri, akhirnya posisi Arik digantikan oleh Garry “Ex Ritual” sampai sekarang. Karir BETRAYER di industri rekaman diawali ketika BETRAYER mengisi album kompilasi “METALIK KLINIK 1” di tahun 1998, yang di produksi oleh Musica Record (Major Label). Di album ini BETRAYER menyumbang lagu yang berjudul “Bendera Kuning”. Album pertama BETRAYER dirilis tahun 1998 juga di Independen/Aquarius Musikindo (Major Label) sampai album ke 4, salah satunya berjudul : - “Pasukan Berani Mati” di tahun 1998. - “Hukuman Mati” di tahun 2000. - “Betrayer” di tahun 2002. - “04” di tahun 2004. Kira kira di tahun 2000 Ndaru mengundurkan diri dari Betrayer, Posisi Ndaru digantikan oleh Lilik “Iik” Wardiandi dari “Delirium Tremens”. Sementara Ndaru buat band lagi bernama “Thrashline”. Di pertengahan tahun 2004 Akbar mengundurkan diri dan bergabung bersama “Superglad” sampai sekarang. Akhirnya posisi Akbar digantikan oleh Endro dari “Super Sucks” Di Tahun 2006 BETRAYER merilis fprmat CD yang pertama di POPS / Aquarius Musikindo (Dulu Independen/Aquarius Musikindo), yang berjudul “The Best Of Betrayer”, ditambah dengan 3 Lagu RBT (Ring Back Tone) BETRAYER, salah satunya “Bendera Kuning”, “Cinta Yang Kembali” & “Melayang. Di Album “The Best Of Betrayer” kita membuat 2 lagu baru, yaitu “Cinta Yang Kembali” & “Melayang”. Dari 2 lagu baru ini Betrayer mencoba membuat musik soft untuk meraih pasaran musik di indonesia Pertengahan tahun 2008 Lilik “Iik” Wardiandi mengundurkan diri, sambil berjalannya waktu BETRAYER mencoba merilis album lagi di pertengahan tahun 2008 yang berjudul “Revolusi”. Di album ini yang menggantikan posisi Iik adalah Tatu dari “Charlie Monroe”. Di album ini Tatu hanya bernyanyi saja, tidak seperti Iik yang maen gitar sambil Vokal.
