Kilas Balik Sejarah Singkat Sirkus Barock (Episode 3)

Setelah kira kira tinggal selama 2-3 tahun sejak tahun 1981 an di Sydney Australia. Akhirnya pada tahun 1983 kami sekeluarga balik lagi ke Indonesia. Kali ini kami tinggal menetap di Jakarta. Maka Barock mulai aktif lagi. Kali ini yang terlibat campuran antara anggauta lama yang dari Jogya Bambang Bujel,Lely Lali dan anggauta Bengkel Teater. Kalau tidak salah ingat Innisisri mulai bergabung. Seingat saya pementasan pertama setelah kembali ke Indonesia adalah pementasa Jazz Meet Reggae di Graha Bhakti TIM.

Sejak itu pula Barock aktif menyelenggarakan pementasan-pementasan sendiri di Pasar Seni Ancol. Dan selalu mengajak bintang tamu. Mereka adalah,Almarhum Franky Sahilatua,Alm Farid Bani Harja,Ully Sigar. Pada era ini pula saya menambahkan nama ‘Sirkus’. Kenapa…? Karena saya terinspirasi oleh saat saya dan Sue mengajak anak saya si Johan menonton Sirkus. Pada saat pertunjukkan saya melihat yang bermain akrobat,penjinak Singa dan Badut mereka itu yang tadi sebelum pertunjukkan adalah penjual tiket,ngurusin parkir segala. Ini mengingatkan saya akan gerakan awal Barock di JOgya dulu yang mana kita semua disamping sebagai pemain tapi juga pekerja panggung dan mengerjakan apa saja yang berhubungan dengan pementasan.

Jadi sejak itu saya memakai kata ‘Sirkus’ di depan Barock. Maka jadilah nama ‘Sirkus Barock’ yang sekarang ini. Adapaun nama Barock sendiri berasal dari era jaman musik Baroque sebelum era musik klasik . Saya menyukai musik Baroque .

SEkembalai saya dan keluarga ke Jakarta ternyata makin membuat gerakan musik Sirkus Barock makin melebar. Kami punya tradisi setiap tahun selalu mengadakan pementasan di TIM.Sirkus Barock selalu Bereksperimen . Pada tahun 1986.Sirkus Barock masuk studio rekaman untuk merekam album pertama Sirkus Barock yang berjudul ‘Anak Setan’.

Album in terlahir atas jasa Almarhum Farid Bani Harja yang berani menanggung atau lebih tepatnya kami berhutang dahulu nanti kalau albumnya laku akan di bayar. Farid sebagai garantornya. Rekamannya di studio Naviri di Bilangan Bintaro.

Lagu lagunya antara lain,Anak Setan,Peristiwa Manusia,Esok Adalah Milikku,Pelacur,Hela Hela Hela,Penjelajah Alam,Penari Jalanan. Mimpi Buruk.Di Situ Ada Bunga (dinyanyikan Sue),Alamatnya Terlupa yang liriknya ditulis Alm’ Rendra yang dinyanyikan Sue Piper juga.

Musisi pendukungnya adalah,Innisisri pada DrumBuche Cheking Bass Gitar,Bujel,Flute dan Suling, Lelly Lali,Gitar Akustik. ALbum ini diedarkan oleh Insan Record Company .
