Parameter disain adalah parameter fisik dan mekanik tanah/batuan yang akan dipakai
sebagai parameter perencanaan/disain suatu bangunan. Untuk PLTM Lubu 1 dan LUBU
2, parameter disain ditentukan tidak saja berdasarkan hasil pengujian laboratorium
mekanika batuan tetapi juga ditentukan berdasarkan pengujian insitu seperti SPT
(Standard Penetration Test) dan penghitungan klasifikasi massa batuanRMR dari
Bieniawski. Parameter disain yang disarankan dipakai di PLTM Lubu 1 dan Lubu 2
disajikan pada Tabel 4.4.
