Pada tahun 2002, Jodie meninggal dunia setelah melewati perjalanan panjang melawan penyakit yang dideritanya. Getah sempat mengalami masa vakum yang cukup panjang. Memang tak mudah bangkit bila sebuah band ditinggal pergi frontmannya. Marcel lalu sempat merangkap sebagai pemain bass dan juga vokalis. Dalam periode ini Agung Cakra Manggala bergabung sebagai drummer menggantikan Bambino. Pada awal tahun 2005 Getah ikut serta dalam OST sebuah film action/suspense nasional berjudul “Gerbang 13” dengan menyumbangkan lagu ”Closing Chapter”.
