Lima tahun berselang semenjak terbentuknya Deugalih & Folks, akhirnya album perdana mereka dirilis ke pasaran. Anak Sungai, sebuah tajuk yang disematkan oleh Deugalih & Folks untuk debut album penuh yang proses pendistribusiannya dilakukan melalui Demajors.

“Dengan bantuan dari Demajors, sebuah label independen dari Indonesia, 10 lagu yang sudah kami rekam akhirnya kini bisa dinikmati. Segala cerita, perasaan, dan buah pemikiran kami tertuang didalamnya,” ujar Deugalih & Folks mengungkapkan. Untuk album ini, Deugalih & Folks menunjuk nama Adhit Android untuk menangani proses mixing dan mastering.

Guna merayakan perilisan album Anak Sungai ini, Deugalih & Folks juga telah resmi mengumumkan bahwa pada Sabtu (28/3) mendatang mereka akan menggelar pementasan Konser Anak Sungai di IFI Bandung. “Kami akan berbagi dan bercerita tanpa jarak, tanpa basa-basi tentang keluarga, tentang kehidupan, dan banyak cerita remeh-temeh lainnya yang tercipta mengalir seperti anak sungai, dari hulu, hilir, menuju muaranya,” mereka kembali menambahkan.
