Bisnis.com, JAKARTA -- PT Bank Mayapada Internasional Tbk berencana melakukan Penawaran Umum Berkelanjutan VIII untuk penerbitan saham baru atau rights issue pada September 2015.

Hariyono Tjahjarijadi, Direktur Utama Bank Mayapada, mengatakan, target perolehan dana dari rights issue mencapai Rp650 miliar. "Cathay juga akan ikut dalam rights issue sesuai dengan komposisi sahamnya," ujar Hariyono kepada bisnis.com, Selasa (28/7/2015).

Sebagaimana diketahui, Cathay Financial Group melalui Cathay Insurance telah mengempit 24,9% saham Bank Mayapada pada Juni 2015 lalu senilai Rp2,07 triliun. Dengan porsi saham 24,9%, untuk mempertahankan porsi pemilikan, Cathay perlu menyetor Rp161,85 miliar.

Menurut Hariyono, perolehan dana dari rights issue juga akan mendongkrak ekuitas perseroan sehingga diharapkan bisa mencapai Rp5 triliun pada 2017 mendatang. Per Mei 2015, ekuitas Bank Mayapada mencapa Rp3,61 triliun. Jika target dana rights issue terealisasi, ekuitas perseroan akan mencapai Rp4,2 triliun.

Hariyono menyebut, untuk meningkatkan modal, selain rights issue perseroan juga akan mendapat tambahan modal dari pemegang saham dan menahan perolehan laba. "Jadi perlu kombinasi right issue dan laba ditahan untuk mencapai BUKU III apda 2017," katanya.

Bank umum kegiatan usaha (BUKU) III merupakan kelompok bank dengan modal inti Rp5 riliun - Rp30 triliun. Saat ini, Bank Mayapada masuk dalam kelompok BUKU II, bank dengan modal inti Rp1 triliun - Rp5 triliun.
