C7.3 Electrical Facilities Development
Plan for the construction of generation facilities, transmission and distribution in the province of
Central Sulawesi conducted with respect to the local primary energy potential
including population distribution patterns as follows.
Primary Energy Potential
of primary energy potential available in Central Sulawesi are very large and
likely to be developed especially hydropower and natural gas. While the
potential for geothermal energy is also quite large, but the status is still speculative
and unpredictable with a total of about 380 MWe. Large hydropower potential is
Poso watershed that can be developed into a large-scale hydro power plant to 575 MW.
There is also the potential for hydropower development in Morowali
of 160 MW of DAS La'a. While the potential of micro power available in several
locations scattered in Banggai, Tojo Una-Una, Poso, Parigi Moutong and
Tolitoli.
According to Indonesian and Statistic Energy Outlook 2006 made by the Assessment
of Energy, University of Indonesia, in Central Sulawesi also contained water potential 3 Electrical Facilities Development Plan for the construction of generation facilities, transmission and distribution in the province of Central Sulawesi conducted with respect to the local primary energy potential including population distribution patterns as follows.
