1.2 PURPOSE
The purpose of the preparation of National Disaster Management Plan 2010-
1014 are:
30 Identify high-risk areas of various disasters
in Indonesia and develop courses of action that needs
major attention, following the program of activities, focusing
priorities and indicative budget necessary.
40 Provides reference to the ministries and agencies
of government, and all stakeholders
in the Indonesian disaster management in order to implement
disaster management in a planned, integrated,
coordinated and comprehensive.
1.3 POSITION OF DOCUMENTS AND LEGAL BASIS
RPB is a cross-cutting government plans applicable
for five years. Summary of content RPB integrated into the
documents of the National Medium Term Development Plan (RPJMN)
which contains the policy and program development as well as the work plan
of the Government. In particular, planning and countermeasures

6 paragraph (5) and (6).
1.5 IMPLEMENTATION RULES
National Disaster Management Plan 2010-2014 is a
manifestation of the government's commitment the field of prevention
of disaster as outlined in Rule Head (Perka) Agency for
National Disaster Management. RPB is a guideline for
the Ministry / Agency in preparing the Strategic Plan (Plan)
Ministry / Institution, the National Action Plan for Reduction
of Disasters (RAN PRB) and the guidelines for the region in
preparing the Regional Disaster Management Plan (RPB Regional) and the
Medium Term Development Plan (Local Development Plan).
